Dr. Jafarian rushes through appointments, shows little genuine care or concern for his patients, and barely listens to their concerns. His tone is often dismissive and patronizing, making patients feel like a burden rather than someone seeking medical help.
The situation is made significantly worse by the receptionist, who is extremely rude, unprofessional, and unreliable. Basic administrative tasks—such as handling prescriptions or lab results—require repeated calls or in-person follow-ups, only to be met with responses like, “There’s nothing I can do.” Despite my lab results being faxed multiple times and already present in their system, they still could not be accessed due to her inaction.
The clinic also appears overly focused on fees and billing. Everything seems to come with an extra charge, including a $50 fee just to transfer medical records. Overall, the experience felt more like a money-driven operation than a medical practice focused on patient care. It often felt as though the priority was billing OHIP rather than providing thoughtful, comprehensive care.
Due to the lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic respect—particularly from the front desk staff, but also from Dr. Jafarian himself—I will be changing physicians. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone seeking compassionate, attentive, or professional medical care. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
