I met Dr Benoit at my local hospital. I was amazed at how fast I was shown into the room and he swiftly set up the examination table as he chatted, both calmly and knowledgeably and he occasionally paused for my comments related to my problem. He had a nurse in with him, assisting with medical instruments as needed. He ordered a CT scan which was done promptly so it wasn’t long before he was back in his consulting room, showing me what was found in my abdomen, explaining as he went along. The only issue I could mention is that it was a super busy night in emerg so I didn’t get enough time to explain my symptoms for him to break them down and explain things, so I don’t know if he fully understood what my main problem was at first, but he did very well considering the circumstances.
In summation all I can say is that both his manner and general attitude towards me made me feel totally at ease and reassured. I also liked his non-judgemental attitude towards me and other patients. I would really love if he was my local GP and would highly recommend him to others.
