1 review about Dr Nicoleta Bobocea
From day one she was very cold, not a pleasant person. I found I saw her locums or substitutes more than I saw her. Sharing her time between two practices in different provinces often left me feeling like an number not a person. Her bedside manner is more applicable to Russia than Canada she talks down to you not with you. You get the sense she’s not listening but waiting for her turn to talk.
She actually treats you like a child as if she’s the doctor you listen and speak when she decides you may speak. It’s a very socially unacceptable feeling to as an adult be scolded like a child for sharing your thoughts about your health concerns.
I’ve never experienced a doctor or any professional act like this towards others. You have two choices with treatment her way or you find another physician. Your thoughts, financial concerns, mental health, fears, are seemingly unimportant.
Heaven forbid you do your own research on her proposed treatment plans that’s really met with disdain.
The overall sense of superiority combined with abysmal bedside manner. Consistent leaves of absence, and propensity to ego trip it’s hard to build a decent connection with her as a human let alone a Dr.
It became expected that she would “forget” to refill prescriptions and leave you hanging for weeks at a time and for whatever reason changes dispensing to biweekly or less so more trips to the pharmacy more paperwork and refills the monthly increasing trips to the office more appointments traveling all while barely being in the office. It’s all very frustrating
And seems like a huge draw off the Medicare system when it’s already struggling.
