1 review about Dr Thien Trang
Dr. Trang is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He is knowledgeable, kind, and I truly appreciate the care he provides.
Unfortunately, I have been trying to get in contact with the office for a long time. I have called more than five times, sent emails, and waited patiently for a callback, but I never received a response. After reaching out for so long without any communication, I was left with no choice but to change my doctor. That was not something I wanted to do, but I could not continue waiting without any response.
I’m not the type of person to be sending reviews and just let things slide but today, I went in person to see if Dr. Trang was available. While I respect that offices can be busy, I was very disappointed with the way I was treated by the secretary (the lady with glasses). During our interaction, my mother spoke calmly and respectfully, but her tone and attitude felt rude and dismissive. She said “well you’re not a patient here anymore!” and no she didn’t say that with calm voice but yelling, we understand that she is not a patient there anymore but maybe the lady should see we are here for a reason, becuase she wanted to come back since doctor trang was one of the best doctor she’s had trusted and knew her conditions well. I have rarely experienced that level of disrespect, especially when we approached the situation with kindness and patience, my mother is one of the kindest people I know and I’m not saying this just because she is my mother but because I have seen how kind and respecftul she is with everyone she meets, we are all humans at the end of the day and we all carry our own struggles and problems. That is exactly why basic kindness and respect shouldn’t be optional.
What was especially concerning was that I had observed her being warm and polite to others. However, the moment my mother said hello and approached the desk, her entire mood seemed to switch. I do not know whether this change in attitude was influenced by the fact that we are not Canadian, but the difference in treatment was noticeable and deeply uncomfortable. She sounded like she was kicking us out.
I am sharing this because I truly value Dr. Trang as a physician, and I hope this feedback helps improve the communication experience at the front desk. I wish all the best
